Universal Vendor Services (UVS) will manage Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) data in its central credentialing system operated on the powerful Salesforce.com CRM platform. After all entries have been completed by the employer and HCIR, UVS will review the file and activate the HCIR’s Universal Vendor Status. At this point, hospital and other Vendor Credentialing Organizations will be able to access the central credentialing system and verify the HCIR's Status. The Status will be active for one year and should be renewed annually.
UVS has initiated a compliance program that will ensure that its policies and procedures are in sync with the best practices of the below organizations. UVS will seek to maintain continuous dialogue with these organizations. It is our mission to ensure patient safety and privacy by implementing and providing a universal standard for vendor credentialing services.
