Once the employer has originated the Health Care Industry Representative (HCIR) in the central credentialing system, an email notification will be sent to the HCIR for completion of the vendor credentialing process. The email will include a temporary, unique universal vendor ID. This will allow the HCIR to gain access to the salesforce.com portal. At this point, the HCIR will have the opportunity to upload vaccinations and other required documentation to the secure portal.
It will be the HCIR’s responsibility to review the entries that an employee made and cure any deficiencies. All entries must be completed in order for UVS to certify the HCIR. The HCIR can then supply his/her unique ID to hospitals and Vendor Credentialing Organizations to verify their Universal Vendor Status.
